“It was an honor to know and work with Senator Lautenberg during our time together in the Senate. From his service during World War II through his service in the U.S. Senate, Senator Lautenberg never stopped fighting for what he believed in. Today my thoughts and prayers are with his family and his fellow New Jerseyans, whom he represented so well throughout the years. He will be greatly missed.”
