The Senate Appropriations Committee is now accepting Community-Direct Spending (CDS) requests from Members for fiscal year 2022. This is in addition to accepting programmatic and other requests. There is no guarantee that all requested projects will be funded.
The Committee will carefully review all member requests. Only those requests that comply with Committee and Senate Rules and are deemed appropriate for federal support will be considered for funding.
As part of the important reforms associated with CDS, all members are required to post any requests they make for CDS to their Senate office websites. A link to the full list of reforms can be found here.
